a. Note:   * Raymond A. Johnson died at a nursing home in Girard, PA.
  * He was educated through the Grade and High Schools at Lincolnville, PA. and lived in Lincolnville until 1905. He graduated from Edinboro College in Business Administration.
  *He held memberships in the following organizations: 1. The Shrine Club-Zem Zem Temple (auditor for many years). 2. The Erie Yacht Club-Charter Member (dropped membership). 3. National Association of Accountants (past president-charter member). 4. National Association of Certified Public Accountants (this organization proceeded the present C.P.A.). 5. The First Methodist Episcopal Church. 6. The Church of the Covenant, Presbyterian. * He was employed in the following positions: 1. 1908-1916 Erie Lithograph Company (Assistant Secretary and Treasurer). 2. 1917-1918 Ernst and Ernst in Cleveland, Ohio (Auditor). 3. 1919 Scovell, Wellington and Company, Boston, MA (Supervision of the Erie office). 4. 1920 Erie Brake Shoe Company (Assistant Auditor). 5. 1921-1941 Public Accountant (Auditing-Cost Installations-Tax Service). 6. 1942-1944 School District-City of Erie (Accounting and Costs Office). 7. 1945-1953 Schaffner Brothers Company (Management of Accounting and Costs Office). 8. 1954-1959 Fred E. Kramer Agencies, Inc. (Comptroller).
  * Raymond and his family lived at various locations in the City of Erie: 1. 1927-1933 2222 Wagner Avenue-This had been his father's home and after moving from it he maintained it for his mother-in-law Margaret Hunter until circa 1939 when she came to live with the family on Tenth Street. 2. 1933-1935 655 West Eight Street. 3. 1935-1936 509 Liberty Street. 4. 1936-1944 620 West Tenth Street. 5. 1994-1970 3924 West Ridge Road, Westminister (a suburb of Erie).
  * In 1929 a home was built east of Erie in Harborcreek Township at the foot of the Highmire Road and Route Five. The location was called Cliffcrest and today is called Driftwood Drive. It had been intended as a principle residence however, after the first winter it was decided to be too far from Erie in the winter and was maintained as a summer home until 1944.
  * Some time in the 1930's he was part owner of the Eagles Point Park Company (Sunset Inn).
  * Raymond was known for his unremitting honesty and commitment to his profession and family.
