a. Note:   Mr.& Mrs George Enraght Mahon lived with their family of 8 children (5 girls and 3 boys ) in Brackenrig, near the Mahon Homestead on Lake Rosseau. They re-located to a house in the Village of Port Carling, around 1927. On Sept 17th, 1925 , their 4th child, Gertrude Georgina, passed away at the age of (11 years ) of "Acute Appendicitis" and "Peritonitis" Their second son, James George Allan, was kicked by a horse in 1927 and was in a coma in a Toronto Hospital, for a long period of time . He did however, recover completely from that injury. sadly, Feb. 08, 1933, (4) days before his 17th birthday, he died after going into a diabetic coma.
