a. Note:   ip in 1857 at the age of twelve. His Father and mother, Mr & Mrs Charles Kaye kept the first Post Office which was located on the Homstead named "Point Kaye" In 1879 James Kaye married Florence Stroud and resided at POint Kaye for 39 yrs. ( he carried the mail between Point Kaye and Bracebridge for 12 years. In 1919 they sold the farm at Point Kaye and moved into Milford Bay. He died in Milford Bay July 12, 1923, following a lenghty illness of (Pernicious Anemia)
