Note: Garrett Nelson. George and Garrett came from South Carolina. Her mother was the daughter of Amos Taylor.
She was a very pretty woman with long, dark brown hair. She was burned to death when her clothes caught on fire while cooking. Her apron caught fire and she couldn't get the knot untied. Her husband burned his hands very bad while trying to get the apron off of her. Information provided by Mrs. Cornie Jones, wife of the deceased Lonnie Franklin Jones, who lives near the cemetery.
