He was jailer on duty when people came in to get Keller & lynch him. **In Pheonix Herald. July 24, 1880. Sheriff lost keys to jail. **1882, in magazine story, 3 drunks making noise. McDonald killed one of them & arrested the others. **Articals in newspaper about him in Pheonix.
