a. Note:   d wife Lucinda had 6 boys that I know of at the time one is not listed on the record but I know of him so I will include him. Yet there is no clue as to why he was omitted. I've also found Charlie (as he was called) in the civil war, He was in the confederate 8th Cavalry, Company D. So far I've not found a company D roster so if anyone does please publish it here in Ancestry.com. Military duty is probably what took him up into Greenbrier County Wva. I found the info as I searched for the troops leaving Giles County.
