Note: Obituary of Nora M. Edinger nee Whicker KANSAS --- Nora M. Edinger, 77, of 5156 County Road 11, Kansas, died at 10 a.m. Monday at Fostoria City Hospital. She was born Oct. 16, 1902, in Owsley County, Ky., to John and Elizabeth (Gabbard) Whicker. She married Ralph S. Edinger on March 2, 1922, and he died Sept. 7, 1979. Surviving are four sons, Ralph of Youngstown; Paul of Kansas; Donald of Fostoria; and Duane of Risingsun; four daughters, Mrs. Marvaleen Cornish and Mrs. Ethel Robinson, both of Fostoria; Mrs. Ruth Hedden, Arcadia; and Mrs. Patricia Runion, Bettsville. six sisters, Mrs. Ethel Sexton, Hamilton; Mrs. Ida Hartley, Amsden; Mrs. Bertha Thomas, Lima; Mrs. Martha Clark, Toledo; Mrs. Virginia Mankin, Fostoria; and Mrs. Beatrice Landis, Mansfield; a brother, Wilson Whicker, Toledo; 34 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Edinger was a resident of the Fostoria area for 61 years. She was a member of the Girton Church of Goad and its Women's Missionary Society. She was a retired employee of Ford Motor Co., Fostoria. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Dean Grow officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetary. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Harrold-Baker Funeral Home, Fostoria. The body will lie in state at the church from noon Thursday until time of service.
