Note: Obituary of Ida M. Hartley Ida M. Hartley, 82, Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky, formerly of Amsden, died Thursday at Wyandot Memorial Hospital, Upper Sandusky. She was born Feb. 25, 1898, in Kentucky to John C. and Sarah (Gabbard) Whicker. She married Lester B. Hartley on July 3, 1948, in Fostoria, and he survives. Also surviving are a son, John Soule, Amsden, a daughter, Mrs. Dallas (Joyce B.) Klotz, Helena; a brother, Wilson, Toledo; five sisters, Martha Clark, Toledo; Bertha Thomas, Lima; Ethel Sexton, Hamilton; Virginia Mankin, Fostoria; Beatrice Landis, Ashland; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hartley was formerly an employee of Bendix Autolite. She was a member of the Church of God, Girton. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Harrold-Baker Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dean Grow officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery, northeast of Fostoria. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
