Note: in-Law Father Peter Joseph, Maria Anna Kaiser sold all her possessions and left Germany for America. Joseph Peter was 2 years old at the time. It had been aranged that she was to meet Fr. Peter in New York. When she arived in New York she learned that Fr. Peter had been taken ill and died. She then continued on to San Francisco and settled on 11th st. the Family attended St Boniface Church and School on Guerrero St. They were some of the first pupils taught by the German Dominican Nuns which Fr. Peter was instrumental in bringing to this country.
