a. Note:   He is burried at Crown Hill Cemetery, Denver, Co. He operated various fruit and truck farms, and was Superintendent of the Rocky Mountain Ditch Company for 26 years. Prior to his death, Frank had been a semi-invalid for 14 years as a result of severe injuries sustained when a team of horses he was driving ran away. Earl Palmer has said that immediately prior to Frank's death he suffered influenza which weakened his heart. When he chased a cow out of the gardens, he suffered heart failure.
  The family homestead was located where the Coors Brewery now stands in Golden, Colorado.
