He Flew the following planes: Piper Cub, PT 22's, BT-13's, AT-17's, AT-11's, B-17, B-29, L-5's, SA-10(PBY), C-47's, L-13's, SA-16's (he was a test pilot and later this would be his main plain used in Air Rescue), H-19 He was stationed or did training at : Buckley Field, Denver, CO; Univ of North Dakota Grand Forks, ND; Santa Ana Army AB, Santa Ana, CA.; Ryan Field, Tucson AZ; War Eagle Field, Lancaster CA; Douglas Army Field, Douglas, AZ; Deming Army Air Field, Deming, NM; Williams Army Air Field, Chandler, AZ; Roswell Army Air Field, Roswell NM; Lincoln Army Air Field, Lincoln, NE; Mills Army air Field, San Francisco, CA; Merced Army Field, Merced, Ca; March Army air Field, Riverside, Ca; 62nd AAF Base Unit, Air Rescue Service, Los Angeles, CA both Hollywood Hills and Palos Verdes, Ca; March AFB, CA; Goose Bay Labrador; Lowery AFB, Denver CO; Johnson AB, Japan; Cheli Air Force Station, Maywood, CA; Edwards AFB, CA. Was in training during WWII and Flew air rescue during the Korean War/ 43 combat missions He later went to work in industrial security retired as GM13 from civil service.
