Note: David Tenny was a Captian and went to Portsmoouth in 1812. He had a talent as an artist and his self portrait is now owned by Dea.. Brossman, great great grandson of this David Tenney. Charles Dean, of Milwaukee, also has a copy of this portrait.
David Tenney put in the first cook stove ever used in Hanover, replacing the brick oven used for cooking.
