Note: The residence of David Tenney in Hanover was on the road running North and Southwest of Moose Mountain (later Tenney Hill) New Hampshire and a little north of where the Wollfboro Road crosses the mountain.
His brother Andrew lived about three fourths of a mile away. His house was on the western slope of Tenney Hill, in which he resided 80 years.
He came at the age of eleven years with his parents to Hanover. He was a soldier and a pensioner of the Revolutionary war. He died March 1851. He raised 13 children and ten were living at his death and at that time he had 69 descendants.
