Note: OBITUARY
James E. Evans James E. Evans, 51, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, at a Glendale hospital. Born in Detroit, Mich., Mr. Evans was a Glendale resident for 20 years. For the last five years, Mr. Evans was the foreman for Rancho Cold Storage. He was a veteran in the U.S. Marines in World War II. Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Erma; a son Robert of Los Angeles; and three brothers. Services will be at noon Saturday in the Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills. Inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills.
