Note: OBITUARY GRAHAM -- Departed this life on the 13th of January, 1882, Mrs. Polly Ann Graham, in the 56 year of her age. Her maiden name was Clark, and she was married to R. D. Graham on the 7th of October, 1856. For more than 26 years she was permitted to live with her husband and proved to be a helpmate in the fullest sence of the term. Her presence made their home cheerful, and happy as long as they were permitted to live togerher. Her four surviving children, together with the deeply bereaved husband, almost idolized her while she was permitted to stay with them. But alas! the separation has at last come. A stark shadow as a pall, fills the happy home with piteous sighs and bitter sorrows. But still they sorrow not as those who have no hope. She made a profession of faith in Christ some twelve or fifteen years ago, and was baptized by the writer into the fellowship of the Mt. Horeb Baptist Church. For several years past she held her membership in Loutre Valley Church, where she was much respected and beloved. Her zeal and devotion to the cause of Christ made her one of the pillars of her church. But she has now passed over the river before us, and we can but say "Sister, thy ashes rest in peace until the resurrection of the just."M. T. B.
