Cloyd was born in Richardson, Calhoun County, son of the late Okey a n d Melinda Snyder Martin. He is survived by his widow, Mildred Sands Martin; a son, Bobby G . ; a brother Monroe Martin and Reetha Wyatt. Three grandchildren; Brenda Thorpe, B. Gregory Martin and Barbara Mar t in; a great-grandchild, Shawn Thorpe. He was preceded in death by three sisters; Dorothy Wyatt, Gladys Du t y and Lorena Martin.
