a. Note:   Watson "Watty" Goostree son of Absalom and Mary "Polly" Granger was a minor orphan in 1809 Sumner Co, TN. the court appointed Jesse Skeen his guardian. In March 1810 Sumner Co Court Minutes it says: Appoint Edward Gwin and Joshua Rice Esq to settle with Jesse Skeen and Stephen Trible guardians of Watson and Elizabeth Goostree and make report to next court.
