  OBITUARY
  Thomas Tucker Dead
  Respected Citizen Succombs to Pneumonia -- Funeral Friday
  Thomas Tucker, aged 63 years, died Wednesday, at his home west Of Butterfield, from pneumonia, after an illness of about a week. At the time of his death he was surrounded by all his relatives. In the death of Thomas tucker, Barry County has lost an excellent citizen. He was a son of the late John Tucker. He is survived by a son Elmer Tucker and two brothers and one sister, Will Tucker of near Butterfield, John Tucker and Mrs. Mark Combs of near Purdy. He was born and reared in Barry County, and was highly respected by all. Several years ago he married Miss Frances Goostree, a member of that highly respected family. Mrs. Tucker died about two years ago. The remains were laid to rest Thursday afternoon in the New Church Cemetery after funeral services conducted by Rev. C. M. Smith.
