a. Note:   Louallen Tucker...Feb 1839...Will...Louallen TUCKER of the county of Roane and State of Tennessee Planter do make and publish this my last will and Testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. And first direct that my body be Decently Intered at the Discretion of my Friends and as to sutch worldly Estate as it hath pleased God to entrust me with I dispose of the same as follows. First I direct that all my debts and funeral expences be paid as soon after my Decease as possible out of any monies that I die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executors from any potion of my Estate real or personal Secondly I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Jane Tucker all my real and personal Estate that may be left during her natural life or so long as she remains my widow to be used by her and my Executor to the best advantage for the benefit of my family. In case of her death or Marriage the said estate then be equaly Divided Between my children and heirs now living, to witt my step son HENR HASTEN my beloved Daughter KATHARINE my son ARMSTEAD my son PASKEL my son JOHN my son THOMAS my son LOUALLEN and my son ROBERT. If in case my wife should marry then she shall then be entitled to one equal part with each of my children. I do hereby make ordain and appoint my esteemed neighbor and friend ROBERT CANNON and my step son HENRY HASTEN Executors of this my will and Testament In Witness whereof I Louallen TUCKER the said Testator hath to this my will written on one sheet of paper. Set my hand and seal this Eight dayof June in the year of the Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and thirty Eight.
