Note: OBITUARY J. A. Tucker Services for J. A. Tucker, 77, Cassville, who died at 10:30pm, Tuesday, December 14, 1982, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, where he had been a patient two weeks, were at 2pm Saturday, at Williamson Chapel, Cassville. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, north of Butterfield. Mr. Tucker was born April 27, 1905, near Exeter and had lived in Cassville since 1936. He was a retired special equipment operator for the Frisco Railroad and a member of the Mount Pleasant Methodist Church. He married Irene Webb Ragland on January 26, 1974, in Cassville. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Erma Williamson, Berneie, CA and Mrs. Gladys Woolverton, Elko, NV.; three sons Robert Tucker, Dallas, Onnie Tucker, Oak Grove, and Joe Tucker, Overland Park, KS.; two step sons, Bennie Ragland, New Haven and Jimmy Ragland, Lowell, ARK.; four step daughters, Mrs. Melba Gardner, Garfield, ARK., Mrs. Betty Wilbanks, Cassville, and Mrs. Delores Young and Mrs. Barbara Mooney, both of Seligman; his mother, Mrs. Lena Tucker, Aurora; three brothers, Burl Tucker, Cassville, Thomas Tucker, Dallas, and Johnnie Tucker, Exeter; two sisters, Mrs Mary Higgs, Cassville and Mrs. Ruth Reams, Nampa, ID; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 12 step grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren.
