a. Note:   There are several letters on file to Sarah. calling her 'Sally', from London & from Windsor written by a woman who was her friend & mentor & who apparently was in service to Queen Victoria. One letter mentions Sarah's brother in the military & on file is a photo of a Captain Mills wearing a uniform established as a regiment at one time in Hobart. Further study required. Letter on file from Guernsey Family History Soc re christening of Sarah in St. Peter Port naming Jean & Marie Mills, Robina Lauder, & Hugh Lauder as witnesses. Baptism No. 249. At Sarah's wedding in London her father was said to be a soldier. Nothing further has been found on the Mills family. Sarah was buried at Queenborough Cemetery & much later reburied 1927 at Cornelian Bay Cem with William & their grand daughter aged 8. The Army Returns of Births & Baptisms lists Sarah as follows: Place Guernsey; Year 1821; Vol. R.A. 16; page 75. There is another entry Place blank; year 1821; Vol. R.A.19; page 25
