Note: Marriage notice in Examiner says Lillian was the 'only daughter of the late James Arthur Kirkup of Islington England.' & Charlotte Jane Naden. THere is much to be read about the Kirkup family in an email from Don Yorath dated 4/3/2006 & filed under HUGHES in Eudora records. Brian, Lillian b 1882 married Allen John Johnstone from Wellborough not sure which state in Australia.andhad 4 children Archibald Alan b 1911 Zeehan, and the other three in Tasmania Frank David 1916, Dorothy 1920 and Una 1922. Lillian's parents are James Arthur Kirkup b c1851 St James m 4 aug 1877 Islington to Charlotte Jane Naden two older siblings Frank Edgar b 1878 and Frederick Arthur b 1879 all children born in Islington. James also married Caroline Amelia Swain and they had a son James Sebastian Kirkup b 1874 Islington. James parents were James Christopher Hopper Kirkup b c 1821 Scotland and Emma Parket Garret b c 1817 Whitechapel London. I don't believe the above information is as private as the details of Lillian's siblings and their marriages & children particularly Frederick. Regards Bob R Sydney
