  Bureau of Vital Statistics Standard Certificate of Death has birthdate as May 14, 1848 and birth place as OH; Father John Peacock of USA, Mother _____ Sharp of USA. Date of death 7-9-23 place of burial "City Cemetery" undertaker W. W. Shepard. Cause of Death - Cancer. One of the relatives of Thomas Peacock lived in the "Big Thicket". He was Henry Peacock, Possibly a brother, but more likely a nephew.
  Fred Ritchie, sometime in the middle to late forties, vistited Henry Peacock's family in the town of Trinity, Texas.
  Fred, at this time, was working at Southwest Butane Company. He took a couple of the men he worked with to the "Big Thicket" deer hunting.
