Obit: R. E. Peacock Dies In Houston; Rites At Denton Tuesday (no date): Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday in Shepard's funeral home in Denton for R. E. Peacock, 52 former Tyler plumber, who died of a heart attack at St. Joseph's hospital in Houston Saturday night, it was reported Monday.
He moved with his family to Houston from here, where he has been a pipe fitter's leaderman at the Houston shipbuilding corporation.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Burnard Peacock, with the Seabees in New Guinea and two sisters, Mrs. Ivy McClelland, San Angelo, and Mrs. Frankie Ritchie, Dallas.
