Note: Buried Whitney, Texas According to New Hope Baptist Church Records: Wesley Worlow joined July 17, 1921 Baptism July 28, 1921 August 31, 1998. Evelyn Joyce Worlow Petty Peacock talked to W.T. Lain which was 94 at time born in 1906. Mr. Lain had lived in Goatneck most of his life. He knew the Worlow family well. He said in approximately 1920 he was living in Haskel Texas with his wife. He came back to Goatneck and picked up Wesley and Wyman Worlow. They went home with Mr. Lain to work in the cotton fields. Wesley and Wyman stayed with Leon Lain, W.T brother. Upon returning to Goatneck Wesley brought back a greyhound dog on the passenger train. Back in Haskel they would run rabbits with greyhounds for fun. Wesley thought it would be nice to have one in Goatneck, but when he got home the dog could not run because when he tried to chase rabbits there were so many sticker his feet would be full of them so he could not catch any rabbits.
