Note: Brian attended Southwell School in Hamilton N.Z. and Christ's College in Christchurch. He worked on the farm at Te Aroha for some years. On marring Honor he went to live in Melbourne Australia. After his divorce from Honor he returned to New Zealand living in Auckland where he married Leila. Brian worked as a clerk in a firm suppling ball bearings, moving to the Auckland branch upon marring Leila.
