Claude and Lola was born and grew up in the Sparks- Norden,Nebr. vicinity. Married in Valentine, Nebr. and farmed near Sparks,& Valentine, Keya Paha Co. Milboro & Clearfield. Later moving in to Valentine, after their home burned down in Nov. 1943, Thanksgiving Day. They lived in Valentine until 1960 when they moved to Hot Springs, So. Dak. Claude working at the V.A. Center. Lola working at the V.A. Center as Nurse Aid, Lola also worked at the Ben Franklin Store.Claude worked at the Power Plant at Valentine.
