OBITUARY: Samuel F. Gaffney, 64, of 60 1/2 Avondale Ave. died Thursday in Grant Hospital. He was employed at the Sandusky Grill; and was a member of the William Penn Lodge. Surviving are his wife Esther, two daughters, Mrs. Betty Oelberg, of Kirby, Ohio and Mary Jane Crawford of Syracuse, N.Y.; a stepson John D. Sanders of Avondale; one brother John of Martinez, Calif,; one sister Mrs. Jennie Aller of Columbus, Ohio; and 4 grandchildren. Friends may call after 7 p. m. Saturday at Jerry Spears funeral home, where service will be at 2:30 p. m. Monday.
