!TEMA & CHARLEY lived & raised their family on a farm near Verdigris, OK. CHARLEY served his country in World War I. TEMA taught school in Ozark Co, MO, some years before going to Oklahoma in 1922, with the DEAN family. It was near Verdigris where she met & married Mr. BACON. She did much to help people in the Church & Sunday School, she assisted in many ways to the sick, needy & poor of the community. She drove the Verdigris school bus for some time, doing many things to try to educate her children.
