Note: RT (BOB) & MARY JACKSON, McClurg, MO. To this union 3 children were born. ERSELL worked for Shell Oil Co, Long Beach, for several years. About 1929 he moved back to Missouri & farmed for several years. He & LELLA were divorced in 1945. On 3 Jan 1947 he was remarried to BLANCHE (LOFTIN) MAHAN (b. 26 Sept 1905), daughter of BILLY & ELLA LOFTIN, Pondfork, MO. After their marriage he bought a farm near Mt. Vernon, MO & also worked for the Gas Service Co. of Mt. Vernon for 15 years, where he was still employed at the time of his death, 3 March 1961 (heart attack) at his home. He now lies at rest in teh Walnut Grove Cemetery in Douglas Co, MO. He was a member of General Baptist Church being converted at an early age. He was a musician.
