Note: n males 1-10. The Grayson Co. Census of 1850 lists Josiah -63 M,Farmer b. Md. Catherine 63 F, b. Md. William -26 M, Nancy -16 F, Teresa C.-6 F, Nancy -30 F, Henry -20 M. Last appears on 1856 tax list. Josiah was Married in Washington Co. Ky, 10 Aug. 1807, by Father Charles NERINCKX. The Marriage Bond was signed by John Fenwick, Listed as over 45 on the 1810 Cencus. Washington Co. records show Josiah to be in that Co. till at least 1808. Josiah and William Dennis, along with Jo hn and Henry Fenwick age 16- 26 all appear on the 1810 Grayson Co. Cencus. All appear to have lived near each other since the names are in close order on the Cencus Record. I think William was a fat her or brother of Josiah and that John was a brother or uncle of Catherine. Henry was also a close relative of John and Catherine. A son was born to Josiah and Catherine in Washington Co. named Geor ge, in 1808. Henry and Mary Fenwick were his sponsers at the Christianing. They must have migrated from Washington Co. about 1809, probably traveling together and settleing in the same area. the are a .I believe it to be near the Grayson - Hart Co. line near the Rock Creek area of the Nolin River. The 1820 taxes payed by Josiah show the land listed to William Dennis value $280.00, the tax records for the earlier years were to faded to read, other than for the year of 1811 which shows Josiah owning 175 acres on the waters of Rock Creek.
