Note: Elda married Arthur Claude Luffman, from London, England, May 1938. Arthur Claude Luffman had a son George Henry (known as Harry) by a previous marriage. Harry was killed during the World War II. He had transferred from the Royal Canadian Infantry Corps where he was a Lieutenant, to the British army, and was in the Durham Light Infantry. After D-Day near Caen he stepped on a mine and was killed on 1 August 1944. He is interred at Hottot-Les-Bagues War Cemetery, Calvados, France.
