  The Susan Edelen in the Kentucky, Death Records, 1852-1963 source shows her date of death as 8 October 1856, age as 56, residence, Lebanon, Kentucky.
  Her grave marker shows her date of death as 8 December 1856.
  Leonard Edelen's administrators purchased a burial lot in Ryder Cemetery, Lebanon, Marion County, Ky on April 21st, 1866. She may have been buried in the Hardins Creek Presbyterian Church cemetery initially, but their monument stands in Ryder Cemetery in 2012.
