Notes
a. Note:   "Partial History of the Irvine Family, of Kentucky", By Cousin Sarah McKee "My grand father, Abram Irvine, son of Abram and Mary Dean Irvine, was born in Rockbridge County Virginia, April 8th. 1766. He came with his father's family to Kentucky in 1786 or 87. He was married to Sarah Henry from Charlottesville Virginia, at the residence of her brother, General William Henry, near Georgetown Kentucky, on the 23rd. day of January 1796. She went with him to a place near Lebanon Kentucky, where their only child, (my mother) was born May 28th. 1798. She contracted a severe cold at the burial of the mother of old Dr. Thomas Clelland. She was never well afterward. She was taken in a carriage on a bed to her brother William's home, in order to be near her old Doctor. She died there of consumption April 15th. 1801 and was buried near Gerogetown, Kentucky. Jane Henry Irvine (my mother) was born near Lebanon Kentucky May 28th. 1798. She was married to Lee M.
