  Obituary for E. J. Kuhn The Junction City Republic, Thursday, October 27, 1927, Page 1, Column 3 E. J. Kuhn E. J. Kuhn, for upwards of twenty-five years a resident of this city, died Sunday in Kansas City following an operation. He had been in St. Marys hospital for four weeks for treatment. The remains were brought to the Pritchard Funeral home, this city, and the funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist church, in charge of Rev. S. L. Buckner, and burial was made in Highland cemetery, with graveside services by the members of the Masonic lodge. Mr. Kuhn was an expert wood worker in the Union Pacific shops, and the shops were closed for the hours of his funeral. He was forty-six years of age. He is survived by his wife and two children.
  His certificate of death shows that he was born in Weimer (Weimar), Colorado Co., Texas. This is south of Austin, between San Antonio and Houston. The names of his mother and father are shown as unknown.
