  Charles Francis Gulick was a Mason. He was born in Ohio, the son of Thomas William Gulick (1826-1924) and his second wife, Frances Emmaline Rucker (1834-1891). When his father died in 1924 he took the remains back to Monroe County, Ohio, for burial. He was living in California before 1880. He received his teaching certificate from the California Board of Education, 9 August 1884. When he retired he joined his brothers-in-law as an orchardist. He married Elizabeth Montague Sharrer in 1880. They had three daughters, Jessie Estelle Gulick, Neah Gracia Gulick and Sarah Frances Gulick. His remains are in the Fortitude Chapel, Tier W2, #1B, Chapel of the Chimes.
