  Following information provided by Tommy Lewis Kircher: THE BELTON HERALD FRIDAY March 19, 1897 Jas. Edelin came up from Pleasant Hill to visit his father W. B. Edelin Esq. and found the old gentleman improving. Esq. Edelin has been very ill for some weeks.
  The 1910 federal census for Jackson Co., Missouri shows that he was a widower.
  A. H. Lyle, 2008 E. 41 St., was the informant for his death certificate.
