Obituary of Loyce Jayne Fozey England, Feb 11, 1993
Amarillo TX - Trudy DeLaine Allen, 66, of Amarillo died April 7, 2008. Graveside in Llano Cemetery. Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home. Trudy was born Feb. 10, 1942, in Burkburnett and was a graduate of Clovis High School. She married James E. Allen on Jan. 31, 1959, in Electra. They lived in Clovis for many years before moving to Amarillo in 1985. While in Clovis, she was on staff at Kingswood United Methodist Church for many years. She worked for Custom Food Group as an office manager for the past 24 years. She was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Wesley Workers Sunday School Class. She had a great love for her church as well as her Sunday school class. She was on walk No. 6 on the Walk to Emmaus in Amarillo. Trudy loved her Lord and her family, and loved being "Nana" to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billie and Loyce England; one brother, Billie England; and her father and mother-in-law, Ross and Ethel Allen. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Christi Herbert and her husband Mike of Friona; two sons, Andy Allen of Amarillo and David Allen and his wife Christin of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Brooke, Brittny, Jake, Josh, Addisen and Aubrey; a sister, Martha Ferguson of Pottsborough; two brothers, Dr. Robert England of Stillwater OK, and Tim England of Oklahoma City.
