Note: N383 Mrs. Mary Blanche Ifer, died at Sunday [August 1, 1954] at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Rose Gerard. Death was attributed to a cerebral hemorrhage. She had been released from the Blackford County Hospital Saturday where she had been confined with virus pneumonia. Mrs. Ifer was was the daughter of Jesse and Clara Logan Day. Her marriage to Charles W. Ifer took place in Fiat. His death occurred October, 1945. She had been a resident of Wells County most of her life. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Norma Harter and Mrs. Ida Rose Gerar, a son, Dale Ifer, two brothers, Charley Day and Earl Day, four sisters, Grace Marrical, Maude Buckmaster, Ida Haven and Alice Miller, and five grandchildren.
