Note:   N405 Arthur Breedlove Dies of Cancer At Age of 54 A group leader in the rotor department at Franklin Electric since 1953, Arthur Mack Breedlove, 54, of 1527 West Lancaster St. died Friday [December 23, 1977] at Clinic Hospital. Ill since May of this year, Mr. Breedlove’s death was due to cancer. A member of the Wesleyan Church, he was superintendent of the Sunday School and on the official board of the church. He was a veteran of World War II. Born December 21, 1923 in Illinois, he was a son of Oather and Myrtle Philippi Breedlove. His marriage to Norma Zimmerman, who survives, took place June 3, 1950 in Nottingham. In addition to the wife, he is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Russell (Sharon) Binegar of Montpelier Route 2, Janice and Joyce, both at home; three sons, David, serving with the Navy and stationed at Pensacola, Fla., Richard of Bluffton and Thomas at home; three sisters, Mrs. H. M. (Deleen) Matteson of St. Louis MO, Mrs. Roy (Betty) Sweeney of Casey IL, and Mrs. Richard (Judy) Pinkerton of Domestic; two brothers, Emil Breedlove of Petroleum and Gene Breedlove of Bluffton, and one grandchild. Burial in the Alberson Cemetery. Thoma-Rich Funeral Home. The News Banner, Bluffton IN Saturday, December 24, 1977.
