Chickasha OK - Loyce J. England, 70, of Chickasha OK, died Feb 11 [1993] in Chickasha. Burial in Burkburnett Cemetery. Sevier Funeral Home. Mrs. England was born July 30, 1922 in Oklahoma City OK. She had resided in Chickasha since 1964. She was a homemaker. At 54 years she graduated from USAO with a BS degree in English. She was the Women's Editor for the Chickasha Express newspaper and for a syndicated column "The Cabbage Patch" for many years. She was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, the Opportunity Workshop. Mrs. England was also past editor of the USAO Trend Newspaper, and had been a Cub Scout Den mother. She and Billie were married Sapt. 27, 1940, in Lawton OK. He died Aug. 6, 1990. Survivors include two daughters, Martha Ferguson of Duncan OK, and Trudy Allen of Amarillo TX; three sons, Billy C. of San Marcus TX, Dr. Robert of Stillwater OK, and Tim of Oklahoma City; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
