Walnut St. died unexpectedly in his home. He was born July 30 1904, in South Bend and lived here all his life. He married, July 2, 1961 in Florida, Dorothy Gardner who survives. Also surviving are his mother Mrs. Mary Slisz of South Bend; sons Thomas, Casper, and two others of South Bend; Richard and Jerry at home and a step son Elvin Gardner; daughters Mrs. Phyllis Kuta of Laporteand two other , Jean Slisz at home and step daughters, Linda, Mary, Sandy, and Betty Gardner, all at home. Two brothers; Fred and Clem of South Bend ; four sisters Mrs. Henrietta Novinich, Mrs. Evelyn Piechorowski, Mrs. Elsie Maeyens, and Mrs Phyllis Biritz; all of South Bend. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the St. Joseph Funeral Chapel where services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday. The Rev. John Moskal pastor of St Adalberts will officiate. Burial will be in St > Joseph Cemetery.
