Stanislaus worked at Singer Sewing Machine factory during the day as a cabinet maker. At night he would help Lottie with the decoration of cakes and such things as she was doing in her catering business. I remember that one Christmas before he died he bought myself and my sister Dorothy a Doll and Buggy that we were to share, as siblings we would fight over who was to play with it and when . I remember he picked me up and said my name in Polish and kissed me. I was four years old at the time. The next thing I remember is that people told me that he was dead and everyone was crying and I was sad.
