  The Family of Gregory Janowiak made thier home in the area around Wagrowiec, Pozen-Poland. We believe they were farmers by trade but have not been able to verify this with church or civil records from the area.

  Gregory Janowiak and Marianne Skibinski immigrated to the United States about 3-15-1891 from the Port of Bremen to Baltimore Md arriving 3-25-1891. The ships manifest of the SS Karlsruhe describes the passengers as follows:
