Note: An earlier occupation for Albert Veen was as a Colonial Bread truck driver, but he would be best remembered as the first missionary and evangelist at the Buckley St. Back to God Chapel at 100 Buckley St., S.E., in Grand Rapids, Michigan from Sept. 1, 1949 until 1962. The chapel was a neighborhood evangelization project of The First Christian Reformed and Neland Ave. Christian Reformed Church. The chapel organized as Grace Christian Reformed in 1962, and renamed Washington Memorial Chapel in honor of Henry Wellington Washington who Albert helped lead to the Lord.
