Note: RIETSMA - Mr. Walter P. Rietsma, age 81, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2003.
He was preceded in death by his wife Florence, and two brothers, Arthur and Russell.
Surviving are his children, Ronald (Shirley) Rietsma of Hatboro, PA, Judith (Richard) Campbell of Wyoming, and Susan (Jack) Bishop of Redlands, CA; seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; sister Virginia Blakeslee of Wyoming; and sister-in-law, Clyta Rietsma of Cadillac, and Virginia Blakeslee of Wyoming. The funeral and committal service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 6 from his church, Olivet Reformed, 3085 Wallace SW in Grandville, with Rev. Harvey Heneveld officiating. Interment will be in Grandville Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building 4235 Prairie St. SW in Grandville. Contributions in memory of Mr. Rietsma may be made to Hospice of Holland Home.
