Note: George and Gus Theofanides were twins. At birth it appeared that George was the stronger of the two boys. Their mother Kaliope Kazakos Theofanides was not able to produce all the milk that the boys needed. In anticipation that Gus would die anyway, he was given to a wet nurse where he thrived. Unfortunately, the same can not be said for his brother George. the best knowledge is that George died about four months after his birth.
