a. Note:   in 1778 and then to Villisca, Ia. After a short residence there, movedto Jasper Co.,Kellog, Ia. I believe this was because there were someHill relatives living there. While in Villisca they had a son who was 20 months old who died and was buried in the Strain plot. There againis the connection of the Strains who married a Watts and moved toIowa. Some of the above information was taken from Lydia's obituary.So they moved to Kellog after 1879. Thomas Watts was Lewis' brother that lived in Villisca, which wouldaccount for the visit there. A visit to Kellogg cemetery Aug.9, 1998 revealed his tombstone,mamouth in size and looking as is it had been put there in recenttimes, later than 1922 when he died. There is at least 4 plots thereand only one headstone, his. Lydia is supposed to be buried therealso.
Note:   Lewis and Lydia were married in Ohio May 31, 1876 and came to Missouri
