Note: Birth Weight: 7 1/2 lbs Died of Spinal Meningitis
Taken from father by mother, Dec 23, 1934, at 2 yrs of age. Could not get in touch with him againuntil he was 16 years old. She promised to return him to his home on Jan 2, 1935, but failed to do so. Instead she placed him in a childrens home in Tacoma. Doris (aunt) and Sam Buchannan, of Bellingham, Washington, took pity on him, took him out of the home and raised him. William was practically deserted by his mother. I found out from Mr. & Mrs. Taylor, formerly of Tonasket, Washington, where he was and moved to Bellingham when he was 16 years old.
