Notes
a. Note:   Temple Card 45 in Schick file Found information on Ernest birth cirtificate. Hard to read the Maiden name of Lena. It looks like "Lreager" or it could be "Lieager". I guess they didn't know how to print back then.
4-25-95...Caren and I determined that the most possible name could be "STEAGER". So I changed it from L..eager to Steager today. Will see what happens in searches...
5 June 1995....Received information from Mr. Richard F. Furman, genealogist that I wrote to last October. Got the information the last week of May this year. It appears from the Marriage Return that Lena's Last Name was STEGER. It all depends on who did the writing of documents back then as to how the information was spelled. Steager...Steger....Her Father's name was John, born in Newark. Maiden name of her mother....Ha Ha....from the marriage licence who ever wrote it up was so proud of their penmanship they forgot to be more legible. This is just a guess, from what I think it says....."Elloise Stelliner. Date on cirtificate....June 30, 1894
2-19-97.....While David was spending this last Christmas with his sister, Carla in Kaysville, UT., he went to the Family History Center in SLC. There he found some more information on the SCHICKS. I also found out that by sending for one of dad's brother's birth cirtificate, it became apparant that the correct spelling of their mothers maiden name is STEGER.
